Job Description / Responsibilities:
Hardware Design & Architecture: Lead the design of electronic systems for UAV avionics, power distribution, grounding, and communications, encompassing schematics, PCB layouts, and system requirements using tools like Altium Designer.
Simulation & Analysis: Develop and simulate solutions with LTSpice/MATLAB, conducting thermal, signal, power, and EMI/EMC analyses for standards compliance (e.g., MIL-STD-461/704/810) and optimization.
Testing & Validation: Plan, execute, and report on prototypes, environmental/EMI tests, flight integrations, reliability/redundancy assessments, and failure mode analyses; drive improvements from field data and changes.
Collaboration & Integration: Partner with software, mechanical, production, and external teams to assess impacts, fulfill requirements, handle engineering changes, prototype, and perform root-cause fault resolution.
Innovation & Documentation: Enhance autonomous controls, power evaluations, and architectures for UAV reliability; track aerospace trends, document designs, and present insights to support indigenous tech projects.
